About the position

Empower Rental Group is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our rapidly growing team in Gainesville, FL. As a family of local equipment rental providers across the Southeastern US, we have expanded from 3 locations in 2021 to over 40 locations today. Our mission is to revolutionize the equipment rental industry by doing things differently, and we are looking for a dynamic individual who is ready to excel and exceed expectations in this role. The Outside Sales Representative will play a crucial role in our growth strategy, focusing on both new customer acquisition and servicing existing accounts. This position offers a base salary along with commission opportunities based on rentals and sales, providing almost unlimited earning potential for the right candidate. In this role, you will be responsible for introducing and selling our products and services to both new and established customers. This involves making cold calls, both in person and over the phone, to identify and qualify new prospects. You will also respond to customer inquiries, track and follow up on existing quotes, and assist with project execution tasks, including addressing questions related to administration, delivery, or invoicing. The position requires a proactive approach, with a strong emphasis on meeting revenue quotas and maintaining a safe work environment. You will be expected to prepare and submit activity reports and forecasts, as well as update and maintain our CRM database with all relevant customer information and sales activities. The ideal candidate will possess a hunter mentality, demonstrating a strong drive to win and the perseverance to overcome challenges. You will need to communicate frequently with customers, maintain a positive professional attitude, and participate in safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment. Additionally, you will assist in driving continuous improvement strategies within the business to enhance quality and efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Identifying, contacting, and qualifying new prospects.
  • Responding to customer calls.
  • Tracking and following up on existing quotes.
  • Assisting with project execution tasks such as answering questions about administration, delivery, or invoicing.
  • Making a large volume of outbound cold calls to physical locations.
  • Meeting assigned revenue quotas.
  • Preparing and submitting activity reports and forecasts as requested.
  • Updating and maintaining the CRM database with customer account information and sales activities.
  • Maintaining all prospective customer data in the CRM database and using it as the sole source for interactions.
  • Staying within prescribed budgetary cost requirements.
  • Communicating frequently with customers.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment and participating in safety meetings.
  • Assisting in driving a continuous improvement strategy within the business.

Requirements

  • Proven sales results and a strong sales background.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to perform cold calls and prospect effectively.
  • Advanced networking and relationship development skills.
  • Comfortable with consultative and/or enterprise sales techniques.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-resolution, and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
