As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for presenting the company’s popular Dual Pricing Program to merchants, which allows them to eliminate their current credit/debit card processing fees. This revolutionary program not only provides substantial savings for merchants but also facilitates daily sales opportunities for the representative. The role involves developing strong business relationships with small to medium-sized business owners through cold calling and networking, collaborating with a Sales Manager to prepare competitive sales proposals, and attending pre-set company appointments. Slice Merchant Services emphasizes ongoing training and support, ensuring that sales representatives have the tools and resources needed to succeed in this dynamic field.

Responsibilities

  • Present the Dual Pricing Program to merchants, offering them a way to eliminate credit/debit card processing fees.
  • Develop strong business relationships with small to medium-sized business owners through cold calling.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to prepare and present competitive sales proposals.
  • Attend assigned pre-set company appointments to maximize sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building, and presentation skills.
  • Strong work ethic with a drive to succeed.
  • Ability to self-source leads through cold calling and networking.
  • Proven outside or field sales experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals.

Nice-to-haves

  • Cold calling sales ability with an assertive, positive, persistent style.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Motivated self-starter with effective time management skills.
