About the position

The Distributor Outside Sales Representative at Roca USA is responsible for developing, managing, and growing the commercial sales division, focusing on both interior and exterior applications. This role involves actively identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, building brand loyalty, and maintaining strong customer relationships within the designated area, primarily through visits to dealers and distributors. The position offers a chance to work in a multinational company with a focus on high sales and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage customer relations within the area of responsibility.
• Contact and visit mainly distributors and dealers.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals.
• Help manage the distribution chain and key accounts.
• Identify high-value projects in the planning stages to target for sales.
• Prepare reports of business transactions on a daily/weekly basis.
• Manage customer relationships by resolving client concerns and providing price quotes.
• Schedule weekly visits to clients.
• Collaborate with staff across the organization to accomplish goals.
• Attend trade shows and other events as needed.
• Create new business opportunities by opening new accounts.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in sales.
• Experience in distributor sales, preferably in porcelain and ceramic.
• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred.
• Interest in interior design.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the ceramic and porcelain industry.
• Knowledge of interior design trends.
