BakeMark USA is seeking dedicated Outside Sales Representatives to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. The Outside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in the company's growth across all market channels. This position is responsible for executing sales strategies to promote BakeMark USA's initiatives, aiming to achieve and maintain a dominant market share in the baking industry. The representative will identify and secure orders to meet the supply needs of our customers, ensuring that we provide exceptional service and support. Candidates must be prepared for extensive travel within a local territory, with expectations of being on the road approximately 90%-100% of the time, including potential overnight travel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the sales process, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to customer service. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to build rapport with customers and suppliers effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategies to promote BakeMark USA's initiatives.
  • Identify and secure orders for 100% of the supply needs of customers.
  • Maintain a dominant market share position in the baking industry.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support.
  • Travel within a local territory approximately 90%-100% of the time, including overnight travel.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, preferably with a minimum of 1 year as a Sales Representative.
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated to win business opportunities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superb interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and suppliers.
  • Experience using computers for various tasks, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; two years of hands-on bakery experience; two years of prior route sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior Baking / Food Manufacturer Industry experience highly desirable.
  • Bilingual highly preferred.
