About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Alsco is responsible for prospecting and securing new customers for various products and services, including uniforms, linen, first aid supplies, and facility rental services. This role involves managing a designated sales territory, meeting sales quotas, and building strong customer relationships. Responsibilities

  • Prospect and secure new customers for uniforms, linen, first aid, floor mats, restroom supplies, and facility rental services.
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas, including a $130 overall sales quota and an $80 Target Market sales quota, with quarterly and annual bonuses.
  • Identify and motivate targeted prospects through cold-calling, email, social media, and lead qualifying.
  • Maintain an active sales funnel using the company CRM.
  • Quickly contact leads generated through digital marketing efforts to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Participate in company promotions, contests, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Follow company sales policies and procedures, including pricing and product guidelines.
  • Build relationships with customers and manage their needs effectively.
  • Safely operate a vehicle for sales trips, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.
  • Attend trade shows and marketing events as required.
  • Monitor and report competitor activity in the territory.

Requirements

  • Industry experience in linen, textile, and/or outside B2B sales is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to follow directions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to recognize colors, sizes, and types of products.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • College degree preferred or equivalent sales experience.
