About the position

The Outside Sales Representative (OSR) plays a crucial role in the growth of our 50-year family-owned company, which is currently expanding rapidly. This position is primarily focused on acquiring new customers while also maintaining relationships with existing clients. The OSR will be responsible for daily travel to potential customers' offices, establishing and nurturing business relationships. Each morning, the OSR will report to the office and return home each evening, ensuring a work-life balance while fulfilling job responsibilities. Customer tracking and detailed notations are essential components of this role, as the OSR will need to provide daily reports on progress to their direct supervisor. A successful OSR is characterized by their personable nature, strong work ethic, customer-oriented mindset, self-motivation, and alignment with company goals.

Responsibilities

• Cold calls to potential customers.
• Handling customer interactions.
• Entering information into company software.
• Answering phone calls and sales emails.
• Complete outbound phone calls for sales, collections, and customer issues.
• Any other duty deemed necessary by management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent; College Diploma Preferred.
• 1 year of experience in Outside Sales is a must.
• Knowledge of equipment and vehicles necessary.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to walk in a non-paved environment and lift up to 20lbs.
