About the position

Catholic United Financial is seeking highly motivated Outside Sales Representatives, also referred to as Member Advisors, to join our team and serve our existing members while expanding our membership across South Dakota. This role is essential in connecting with local communities, including cities like Sioux Falls and Rapid City, to promote our suite of financial products and services. As a member-owned, not-for-profit financial services company, we are dedicated to protecting the future of our members and positively impacting parishes, schools, and communities. In this position, you will work from home, providing in-person service to local members. We are looking for candidates who reside within the service area of South Dakota. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and service, particularly in insurance or financial services, and will be self-motivated with a proven track record of success. You will be responsible for building lifelong relationships with members, generating new leads through networking, and collaborating with various departments to support community events and campaigns. Responsibilities

  • Build lifelong relationships with members and prospective members to serve their financial needs.
  • Collaborate with support teams, including a Team Lead and Regional Manager, to achieve specific activity and production goals within an assigned territory.
  • Generate new leads by networking within the Catholic community and utilizing resources offered by Catholic United Financial and personal networks.
  • Support events and campaigns benefiting Catholic parishes, schools, and communities in collaboration with the Member Engagement Department.
  • Work comfortably in a commission pay environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales and service within insurance, financial services, or advisory-related products and services.
  • A history of self-motivation, success, and results, while being a team player.
  • Experience in promotion and marketing to grow your business.
  • Experience presenting to groups and in one-on-one interactive sales partnerships.
  • Active involvement in the community.
