About the position

Roto-Rooter is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $50,000 to $70,000 annually, with top performers earning over $110,000. The role is designed for individuals with sales experience, particularly in industries such as insurance, auto sales, roofing, windows, pest control, security, lawn care, and restaurant services. We provide all leads, eliminating the need for cold calls, and offer paid training along with industry certifications to ensure our representatives are well-prepared for success. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will conduct territory sales visits to promote our water restoration services, follow up with existing customers to address their plumbing or water issues, and meet weekly sales objectives. You will utilize established pricing matrices and insurance guidelines to quote repair and replacement options, effectively closing sales. The position requires the use of company technology to document job sites and provide customers with reliable information about our services. Responsibilities

• Conduct territory sales visits offering our water restoration services.
• Follow up with current customers to offer established solutions to their plumbing or water problems.
• Meet weekly sales objectives.
• Use established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to quote repair/replacement options/solutions and close the sale.
• Effectively use provided company technology to upload photographic documentation for each job site visited into appropriate applications.
• Be a trusted informational resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license.
• Sales experience is strongly desired, but not required.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of smart devices, applications, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Xactimate, Ridgid, and SalesForce is desired, but not required.
• Ability to independently problem solve, resolve conflict, and manage priorities.

• Familiarity with Xactimate, Ridgid, and SalesForce is desired, but not required.
• Previous work experience at Orkin, ADT, Comcast, JEA, Northwestern Mutual or similar backgrounds are also a good match.
