About the position
The Outside Sales Representative at Clements Fluids is a dynamic role focused on driving sales in the oil and gas industry, specifically covering Loving County, TX and Lea County, NM. This position requires a competitive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment and is motivated by the thrill of closing deals and building long-term customer relationships. The representative will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to securing deals, while providing exceptional after-sales support to ensure customer loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Create a detailed territory plan to attain predetermined goals and quotas
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding the opportunity to secure the deal
- Unearth new sales opportunities to develop territory and turn them into long-term relationships
- Provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty within the territory
- Remain in regular contact with your customers within your territory to understand and meet their needs
- Build flexibility into your sales process by allowing flow from one step to another
- Monitor the sales process proactively
- Refine and adjust the sales process as needed to maintain the flexibility to meet changing preferences
Requirements
- Experience in oil & gas sales (drilling, completions, workovers)
- Proven track record of past successes, even if not work-related
- Ability to fit in quickly and easily in new environments
- Excellence in time management and efficiency
- Adaptable with excellent problem-solving skills
- Coachable with humility to ask questions and take feedback
- Exceptional work ethic with a drive, hunger, and passion for achieving goals
