About the position

As an Outside Sales Representative at Soar Agency Group, you will leverage your sales skills to meet face-to-face with small and medium-sized business owners, offering top-tier supplemental insurance products and services. This role is designed for driven individuals looking to advance their careers in a vibrant environment that rewards hard work and dedication.

Responsibilities

  • Meet face-to-face with small and medium-sized business owners and decision-makers in your assigned sales territory.
  • Respond to general emails and phone calls from clients.
  • Set follow-up appointments with prospective and current clients to review their needs.
  • Participate in scheduled calls or meetings with your sales team or manager.
  • Call on new businesses, referrals, and existing clients who need to be re-serviced.
  • Build and maintain your own book of business.
  • Set your own scheduled working hours and submit them to your sales manager each week.
  • Submit your sales metrics and activity daily.

Requirements

  • Sales experience preferred but not mandatory; willing to train the right candidate.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively convey empathy and understanding.
  • Resilience and a tough-minded, self-starting attitude.
  • Skilled at overcoming objections and undeterred by rejection.
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets and performance excellence.
  • Genuine desire to help others and make a positive impact.
  • Already licensed in Health & Life general lines or willing to obtain the license (licensing reimbursement offered).
  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of professional work experience.
