About the position

The Royal Plus Sales Representative will perform a wide range of sales tasks, directed towards increasing the overall volume of work, from existing and new sources. The ultimate goal is to increase business and customer satisfaction for Royal Plus, Inc. by targeting residential, municipalities, healthcare, government, property managers, and all commercial business in a defined region. The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing the overall business strategy relative to sales and targeting measurable growth within the company. This individual will maintain existing relationships while establishing new business relationships within the disaster recovery industry. The Sales Representative will be required to travel on CAT events. This position reports to the Southeast Regional Manager. Job Duties include assisting in the development and implementation of a clearly defined and focused strategic sales plan for Royal Plus, Inc. The representative will generate leads with commercial clients, meeting or exceeding sales goals, and focusing on accountability to improve performance. They will give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients and review the RPI reporting system that will document the results of the sales. The role also involves creating and fostering an environment of self-motivation, maintaining customer service responsibilities, and evaluating the market position of competing companies and their sales techniques. The Sales Representative must remain current on changes within all aspects of RPI business through publications, periodicals, technical meetings, and conference attendance as well as continuing education. They are expected to project a professional appearance and cooperative attitude, maintaining high ethical standards of confidentiality in representing the company to ensure a professional representation. Additionally, the role requires travel and assistance on RP CAT (catastrophe) events, such as hurricanes, establishing ERP's and gathering required information to assist first responders. Other various administrative tasks may also be needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license, with reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience in Outside Sales.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email).
  • Motivated and organized person with a positive attitude.
  • Personable and professional individual.
  • Must be able to sit at a desk & look at computer screens for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel to meet clients.
