About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Masonite, now part of Owens Corning, plays a crucial role in tracking the development and performance of all sales activities within the assigned market. This position is focused on achieving maximum profitability and growth in alignment with the company's vision and values. The representative is responsible for establishing plans and strategies to expand the customer base in their marketing area, while also contributing to the development of training and educational programs for clients. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety procedures and policies set forth by Masonite. In this position, the Outside Sales Representative will maintain effective relations with inside customer service representatives, ensuring superior service to customers. Regular collaboration with the Sales Manager is essential, whether in person or via phone, to effectively manage sales, marketing, promotions, accounts receivable, and customer service. The representative will provide timely and effective services to customers, striving to maintain maximum profit margins while keeping accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activities. The role also involves creating and conducting proposal presentations, developing a sales plan and strategy that ensures the attainment of company sales goals and profitability, and preparing action plans for effective searches of sales leads and prospects. Additionally, the representative will initiate and coordinate the development of action plans to penetrate new markets and assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed. Adherence to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes is mandatory, ensuring that these are communicated and implemented within the team.

Responsibilities
