About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Rueter's Equipment is responsible for driving profitable revenue through the rental and sale of new and used agricultural and construction equipment. This role emphasizes building and maintaining strong customer relationships within the assigned territory, ensuring exceptional customer service, and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, cultivate, and prioritize leads using our CRM database and market knowledge.
  • Develop B2B relationships with area leaders and potential customers.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, responding to inquiries and needs outside normal business hours.
  • Utilize core values to build trust in the marketplace and secure business.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success in inside or outside sales, preferably in related industries.
  • Previous experience in agricultural or construction sales is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in CRM software.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
  • Valid driver's license.
