As an Outside Sales Representative at Spectrum, you will play a crucial role in connecting people and communities by offering best-in-class telecommunication services. This position involves door-to-door solicitation of new prospective customers, where you will actively engage with the community to promote and sell our services. Your primary focus will be on acquiring new residential customers through direct contact, utilizing assigned leads to maximize your outreach efforts. You will conduct proactive consultative needs analyses to understand customer requirements and develop tailored sales presentations that effectively communicate the benefits of our products and services. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately completing all necessary paperwork to support your sales activities, ensuring compliance with quality control guidelines. This includes entering sales orders, reporting on sales, and maintaining detailed records of customer interactions. You will also be expected to participate actively in team meetings and training programs, contributing to team goals and sharing best practices with your colleagues. Achieving monthly sales quotas in high-speed data, mobile, landline phone, and video sales will be a key performance indicator for your success in this position. You will need to stay well-informed about competitors' activities in your assigned territory, providing feedback to your manager regarding any changes in competitive pricing or marketing strategies. Your ability to work independently with minimal supervision will be essential, as you will spend approximately 90% of your time in an outside environment, often in varying weather conditions.
