As an Equipment Sales Specialist at Snap-on, you will play a crucial role in driving sales of John Bean products within a defined territory. This position requires a deep understanding of Snap-on equipment, particularly in the realm of automotive service technology. You will be responsible for selling a variety of products including wheel aligners, wheel balancers, tire changers, alignment lifts, automotive lifts, specialty lifts, brake lathes, collision repair equipment, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Your expertise will not only help in generating sales but also in providing exceptional customer service and support to automotive repair facilities, dealerships, and collision centers. In this role, you will demonstrate your subject matter expertise by accurately quoting prices, preparing proposals, and conducting location surveys to assess the fit of desired products. Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of prospective customers through cold calls, lead generation, and proactive canvassing of your territory will be essential. You will also develop and sustain relationships with existing customers, working collaboratively with field service team members to ensure cohesive customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include facilitating dynamic customer equipment training and demonstrations, establishing supportive relationships with Snap-on franchisees, and leveraging other divisions to drive inclusive customer solutions and brand awareness. Additionally, you will be tasked with generating and expediting the resolution of customer concerns with professionalism and courtesy, while analyzing territory potential, tracking sales, and generating reports for management.
