About the position

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking Outside Sales Representatives to join our team! This role is primarily focused on building relationships and canvassing entities with deep fryers to contract for the purchase of their used cooking oils. The company operates in 15 states and services over 22,000 locations, making this a vital role in expanding our market presence. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will not be involved in customer service or order taking; instead, your focus will be on business development and purchasing. The position requires you to canvass locations within a drive time of no more than 1.5 hours from your designated area or depot location. The company provides both a company car and a cell phone to facilitate your work. Mandatory working hours include starting your first stop by 9 AM and completing your last stop after 4 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Thursdays, you will be required to canvass bars, with the first stop by 2 PM and the last stop after 10 PM. This role typically involves working 50+ hours a week, and there are no expectations to work holidays or long weekends. Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. has been in business since 2005 and is committed to recycling used cooking oil. We are a growing company that values hard work, reliability, and a drug-free workplace. If you are motivated and meet the qualifications, you can expect to earn a base pay of $70,000 plus sales bonuses for every new contract you secure, with the potential to earn over six figures annually.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with entities that have deep fryers to contract for the purchase of used cooking oils.
  • Canvass locations within a designated area to identify potential clients.
  • Achieve sales metrics to earn bonuses on new contracts.
  • Maintain a clean motor vehicle report while using the company car for travel.
  • Work flexible hours, including mandatory stops at specified times.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean motor vehicle report required.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful cold calling experience required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel to Canada required.
  • Hard working and reliable.
  • Drug-free.

  • Bilingual in Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Cantonese, Hindi/Bengali preferred.
