About the position

Critter Control Operations, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Millville, New Jersey. As a Wildlife Sales Consultant, you will be part of an industry-leading wildlife management company that has been providing humane and environmentally conscious solutions for wildlife and pest management since 1984. You will be responsible for building relationships with customers and providing tailored solutions to their wildlife-related issues. In this position, you will grow sales and generate new accounts within your assigned territory by responding to leads and uncovering new business opportunities. You will work closely with field service personnel, assisting them as needed while ensuring that customer needs are met efficiently. Your daily duties will include creating and following a service schedule, presenting sales proposals, performing quality control visits, and developing relationships with customers and external businesses. Responsibilities

  • Grow sales and generate new accounts in assigned territories by responding to provided leads and uncovering new business opportunities.
  • Create and follow a service schedule within an assigned territory, ensuring safe and timely arrival at each customer's location.
  • Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing in-depth training to decide on the most efficient and best overall solution for each customer's needs.
  • Create, present, and submit sales proposals and collect owed money in a timely fashion.
  • Provide technical and logistical assistance to field personnel as necessary/requested.
  • Perform quality control visits and follow-up with customers to ensure satisfactory service.
  • Develop relationships with customers, sister companies, and external businesses that lead to the creation of new sales opportunities.
  • Lead with a safety-first mindset.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Service, general labor, or construction experience is preferred but not required.
  • Good driving record and the ability to pass a drug screen.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or customer service roles.
  • Ability to generate leads through networking, cold calling, and research.
  • Strong time management skills.
