American Muscle Docks & Fabrication (AMD) is seeking a skilled and motivated Outside Sales Specialist to join our team. This new position is critical to enhancing relationships with customers and distributors while extending our reach to new territories. The role is results-oriented and high-visibility, reporting directly to the AMD President and working cooperatively with all teams to achieve superior customer satisfaction and long-term business growth. As a branded manufacturer of boat dock systems, floats, gangways, and marine hardware, AMD is recognized as the #1 regional player in its market with exceptionally high growth potential. In this high-impact role, you will craft a territorial sales strategy in partnership with the President and sales team, with established targets. You will identify, initiate, and cultivate sales opportunities to increase awareness and interest in AMD. Continuous improvement as a product specialist is essential, requiring a deep understanding of how our products fit market needs and compare to competitor offerings. You will provide prompt follow-up and communication throughout the customer journey, including bid request forms, sketches, detail drawings, and photos. Managing projects from prospect through project design, you will coordinate with the engineering and marketing teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Additionally, you will develop and deliver sales presentations to customers and actively participate in trade shows and dealer events, establishing credibility throughout the organization while fostering the mission, vision, and values of the business.
