About the position

Tar Heel Basement Systems, a Groundworks Company, is seeking talented Outside Sales Representatives, also known as Certified Field Inspectors (CFIs), to join their team in Raleigh, NC. CFIs are integral to the success of our organization, partnering with homeowners to diagnose issues and recommend solutions through our foundation repair and water management services. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service and solutions for their home improvement needs. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will travel within your sales territory to conduct in-home inspections, utilizing warm pre-qualified leads to develop and maintain a book of business. You will diagnose and educate homeowners on the issues they face in their homes, providing them with various solution options. Your responsibilities will also include estimating repairs and generating job proposals for homeowners, ultimately closing sales with customers in their homes. Maintaining relationships with customers while tracking your sales lead pipeline is essential to your success in this role. This position offers an industry-leading commission program with no cap on earnings, allowing for average annual earnings between $200,000 and $300,000. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of sales experience preferred but not required
  • Experience in commission-driven sales, business-to-consumer and/or in-home sales is a plus
  • Experience in Construction or Home Improvement is a plus
  • An entrepreneurial attitude focused on driving performance and customer service and satisfaction
