This position emphasizes building and maintaining relationships with engineers and maintenance personnel through a consultative sales approach, aiming to grow both new and repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Grow the territory by bringing in new business and developing repeat business relationships within existing accounts.
• Call on engineers, maintenance personnel, and others to determine their needs through a consultative approach.
• Establish rapport and build solid relationships at all levels of customer organizations.
• Manage a sales territory effectively to achieve sales targets.

Requirements

• Outside sales experience within the industrial fields.
• Knowledge of valves, pumps, instrumentation, and flow control products is a bonus.
• Proven experience and success in developing new business and managing a sales territory.
• Ability to establish rapport and build solid relationships with customers.
• Mechanical aptitude and computer skills; familiarity with Profit 21 is a plus.
