About the position

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for selling blasting products and services, requiring a technically oriented, organized, and motivated individual with strong communication skills. This role involves developing relationships with key decision-makers, making sales presentations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Schedule appointments with potential and existing customers within territory.
• Communicate with customers to identify and understand their product or service needs.
• Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
• Maintain communication with existing and previous customers about new products and services.
• Maintain detailed reports of sales activities using a CRM tool.
• Provide periodic territory sales forecasts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, or business is a plus.
• At least five years of related experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize customer inquiries and requests.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in outside sales for at least 2 years.
• Valid Driver's License.
