About the position

EquipmentShare is searching for an Outside Sales Representative (Territory Account Manager) for our Core Solutions rental location in Knoxville, TN. This role is pivotal in expanding our existing customer base by building strong relationships with contractors and construction company principals. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting our equipment rental services, which include aerial equipment, earth moving equipment, material handling equipment, and more. The position offers a competitive pay structure, including a base salary and uncapped commissions, with no market restrictions. In this role, you will quickly respond to inbound leads and requests, ensuring that potential customers are informed about the numerous ways EquipmentShare can help them save money, increase their profits, and operate more efficiently. You will also maintain and nurture existing customer relationships, ensuring that they are 100 percent satisfied with the level of service and support they receive from EquipmentShare. Keeping customers updated about new or additional ways in which EquipmentShare can improve their business is essential. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing new sales strategies and techniques to increase our market share and enhance the customer experience. This position requires a tenacious and innovative individual with superior sales skills, who is adaptable to the fast pace of a growing company and committed to continuous education on the latest EquipmentShare products and services. Responsibilities

  • Quickly respond to inbound leads and requests.
  • Expand our existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals.
  • Educate customers on how EquipmentShare can help save them money, make more money, and operate more efficiently.
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction with service and support.
  • Keep customers informed about new or additional ways EquipmentShare can improve their business.
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, or other communications.
  • Develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience.

Requirements

  • Tenacious and innovative with superior sales skills.
  • Industry knowledge (rental or construction) and experience in B2B sales preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the fast pace of a growing company.
  • Continuous education on the latest EquipmentShare products and services.
  • Competitive spirit while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
