About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Buffalo Biodiesel, Inc. is responsible for building relationships and canvassing entities with deep fryers to contract for the purchase of their used cooking oils. This role focuses on business development and purchasing, with no customer service or order-taking responsibilities. The position requires travel to various locations within a designated area, and the representative will work primarily Monday through Friday, with specific hours for canvassing bars on Thursdays.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with entities that have deep fryers to contract for the purchase of used cooking oils.
  • Canvass locations within a drive time of no more than 1.5 hours from the designated area or depot location.
  • Conduct cold calling to generate new business opportunities.
  • Meet sales metrics to earn bonuses on new contracts.
  • Travel to Canada as required for business purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful cold calling experience required.
  • Driver's License with a clean motor vehicle report required.
  • Ability to travel to Canada required.
  • Hard working, reliable, and drug-free.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual in Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Cantonese, Hindi, or Bengali is a bonus.
