About the position

As an Outside Sales Representative at AFC Automotive Finance Corporation, you will play a crucial role in supporting independent auto dealers by providing financing solutions that enhance their purchasing power. With over 35 years of experience in the automotive finance industry, AFC is dedicated to helping dealers succeed by freeing up cash flow and allowing them to focus on their business growth. You will be part of a small, local team that is responsible for managing accounts, analyzing data, and building strong relationships with customers. Your primary goal will be to drive a positive customer experience while identifying organic growth opportunities within your assigned market. In this position, you will utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools to develop a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences. You will engage in performance-related discussions with dealers to promote product solutions and campaigns that align with their business objectives. Your responsibilities will also include managing existing accounts, mitigating risks, and driving new growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong customer service orientation, a passion for helping others, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of customer needs using customer relationship management (CRM) tools and work queues.
  • Identify dealer needs to promote product solutions and campaigns.
  • Manage accounts and enhance dealer growth by engaging in focused performance-related discussions.
  • Manage, service, and mitigate risk on customer accounts.
  • Manage existing accounts and drive new growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in customer-facing, sales, or sales support roles.
  • A valid driver's license with reliable and dedicated transportation.
  • Ability and desire to frequently travel within your market to support our current and prospective customer base.
  • Desire and experience working in a multi-faceted environment, effectively managing multiple tasks with a strong focus on productivity and the ability to adapt.
  • Ability to use and understand technology required for your position such as mobile applications and software.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously when needed as well as part of a team.
  • High level of accountability towards local goals and business targets.
