This role is crucial as Outside Sales Representatives will educate and inform homeowners about their entitlements related to storm damage, specifically concerning roofing, siding, and gutter projects. The goal is to protect homeowners' most valued investments at a fraction of retail costs. The company prides itself on its comprehensive support system, which allows sales representatives to focus on their sales efforts without being bogged down by administrative tasks. AmeriPro Roofing has fully staffed departments that handle measurements, estimating, supplements, reinspections, material ordering, collections of funds, and coordination with mortgage companies. This structure ensures that sales representatives can maximize their time and efficiency, leading to quicker commission payouts based on collected revenue rather than waiting for project completion. As a fast-growing company operating in 40 markets across 19 states, AmeriPro Roofing aims to expand to 50 branches within the next five years. Outside Sales Representatives play a vital role in this growth trajectory. The compensation package is competitive, offering a draw advancement versus commission structure, with potential earnings ranging from $67,000 to $266,000 per year. Additional benefits include a vehicle allowance for qualifying vehicles, quarterly bonuses based on revenue goals, and full insurance benefits covering health, dental, vision, and life. The company also provides a 401K plan with a 4% employer match, sales support staff, and a training and development program to ensure representatives are well-equipped to succeed in their roles. This is a W-2 position, meaning representatives are employees rather than independent contractors, and they will receive company-issued leads to supplement their self-generated opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, identify, and close new sales opportunities through targeted canvassing, referrals, preset leads, networking, and social media.
  • Manage and maximize assigned territory effectively.
  • Conduct exterior property inspections to identify wind and hail damage.
  • Convert inspections into claims filed and contracts signed with homeowners.
  • Review scope of work summaries and sign contracts with homeowners.
  • Meet with insurance adjusters on property to discuss claims.
  • Collect funds and insurance deductibles from homeowners.
  • Obtain referrals from customers on approved sales and through networking.
  • Build relationships with homeowners by earning their trust and delivering on promises.
  • Educate customers on the industry, products, and AmeriPro's policies and procedures.
  • Methodically manage the sales pipeline using the company's CRM system.
  • Maintain constant communication with sales leadership, homeowners, and office staff.
  • Prepare for and attend weekly sales meetings.
  • Follow AmeriPro's sales system, policies, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven full cycle sales experience (preferred).
  • Must have a reliable working vehicle with insurance coverage (10 years or newer preferred to qualify for allowance).
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Must have or obtain a smartphone capable of downloading apps and taking pictures.
  • Industry knowledge (preferred).
  • Previous experience using a CRM platform required.
  • Experience following a documented consultative sales system preferred.
  • Self-sufficient; must be able to work in an independent environment.
  • Dedication to personal career development by reaching set goals.
  • Must have a valid driver's license (any state applicable).
  • 21 years of age or older preferred (for insurance purposes).
