AmeriPro Roofing, one of the largest residential roofing contractors in the nation, is seeking to hire Outside Sales Representatives immediately in the Northwest and Northern Chicago Suburbs. This role is crucial as it involves educating and informing homeowners about their entitlements related to storm damage, specifically concerning roofing, siding, and gutter projects. The goal is to protect homeowners' most valued investments at a fraction of retail costs. The company prides itself on its comprehensive support structure, which allows Outside Sales Representatives to focus on sales without being bogged down by administrative tasks. This includes assistance with measurements, estimating, supplements, re-inspections, material ordering, and collections of funds, as well as liaising with mortgage companies. Unlike many competitors, AmeriPro Roofing ensures that commissions are paid out on collected revenue as soon as checks are submitted, allowing sales representatives to receive their hard-earned commissions promptly. As a fast-growing company operating in 40 markets across 19 states, with ambitions to expand to 50 branches within five years, Outside Sales Representatives play a pivotal role in this growth trajectory.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, identify, and close new sales opportunities through targeted canvassing, referrals, preset leads, networking, and social media.
  • Manage and maximize assigned territory effectively.
  • Conduct exterior property inspections to identify wind and hail damage.
  • Convert inspections into filed claims and signed contracts.
  • Review scope of work summaries and finalize contracts with homeowners.
  • Meet with insurance adjusters on-site to discuss claims.
  • Collect funds and insurance deductibles from homeowners.
  • Obtain referrals from satisfied customers and through networking.
  • Build trust and relationships with homeowners by delivering on promises.
  • Educate customers about the industry, products, and AmeriPro's policies and procedures.
  • Manage the sales pipeline methodically using the company's CRM system.
  • Maintain constant communication with sales leadership, homeowners, and office staff.
  • Prepare for and attend weekly sales meetings.
  • Follow AmeriPro's sales system, policies, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven full cycle sales experience (preferred).
  • Must have a reliable working vehicle with insurance coverage (10 years or newer preferred to qualify for vehicle allowance).
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Must have, or obtain, a smartphone capable of downloading apps and taking pictures.
  • Industry knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience using a CRM platform is required.
  • Experience following a documented consultative sales system is preferred.
  • Self-sufficient; must be able to work independently.
  • Dedication to personal career development by reaching set goals.
  • Must have a valid driver's license (any state applicable).
  • 21 years of age or older preferred (for insurance purposes).
