About the position
The Outside Sales Specialist Intern at CHS Inc. is a role designed for students pursuing a degree in Ag Business or related fields. This internship focuses on engaging with Cenex® branded products, where the intern will lead various projects related to energy product sales, market research, and business plan development. The position emphasizes detail orientation and strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively assist in sales presentations and market analytics.
Responsibilities
- Research regional energy market trends and competitive elements.
- Assist in the creation of Energy business plans for affiliated cooperatives.
- Development and execution of various projects and sales related offerings.
- Conduct sales analysis and historical sales trend/performance for affiliated cooperatives.
- Partner with other Ag departments and accounting to maximize gap analysis.
Requirements
- Working towards a degree in Ag Business, Ag Econ or other related degree program
- Completion of junior year of study is preferred.
