About the position

The Outside Sales Territory Manager at American Wholesale Energy is responsible for driving sales and building relationships with clients in a designated territory. This role focuses on prospecting new customers, conducting energy audits, and achieving sales targets while adhering to corporate policies. The position offers high earning potential and opportunities for career growth within a supportive sales team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Strong 'hunter' approach to sales with ability to prospect and grow a book of business.
  • Enthusiasm and aptitude for developing rapport with clients.
  • Persuasive and influential written and oral communication skills.
  • Time management, goal setting and drive to meet sales objectives.
  • Communicate daily and in a timely manner with team members and role models/field managers.
  • Attend all appointments generated by Inside Team member on time.
  • Self-Prospect new customers to maximize productivity and achieve minimum requirements for prospecting and lead generation.
  • Conduct energy and water audits and assessments and perform sales presentations using approved sales materials and procedures.
  • Achieve minimum targets as determined by this agreement and updated periodically.
  • Engage qualifying customers with any other products offered by the business.
  • Adhere to all Corporate Sales Policies as defined in this agreement and as determined and updated by Sales Management from time to time.
  • Work territory assigned by company.
  • Use company materials and processes as per protocols and training provided.
  • Be polite, courteous, and considerate always when working with fellow team members and clients.
  • Work with Company, team members and customers in an ethical manner.
  • Pass annual certification tests + training tests + criminal record check.
  • Attend company conferences and meetings.
  • Respect work hours. Regular minimum hours = 8:45 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday (Available hours of operation 8:00 am to 8:00 pm).
  • Attend clients in a timely manner.
  • Have a vehicle in good working condition, valid drivers' licence and be insurable.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in Energy Sales.
  • Criminal Record Check certification.
