About the position

The Outside Sales Territory Manager will be responsible for managing and growing customer accounts in the Syracuse and Rochester, NY region. This role requires a results-driven individual who can work independently to identify and implement effective sales strategies, ensuring quality service and reliability for customers. The position involves handling existing accounts while actively seeking new business opportunities, treating the territory as a personal business venture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts in the Syracuse and Rochester, NY region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Deliver quality service and reliability to customers.
  • Utilize follow-up skills to maintain customer relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Work independently to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Two years of demonstrated success in outside sales experience, preferably in the woodworking or industrial/distribution arena.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
