About the position

The Senior Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is responsible for driving new business sales growth and maintaining existing customer relationships within the Western Michigan territory. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong customer relationship skills and the ability to navigate the competitive landscape to maximize profitability and value for customers. The TSM will be expected to meet corporate sales goals while traveling extensively to service clients in the assigned area.

Responsibilities

  • Make sales calls to increase market share and profitability
  • Develop and implement plans for growing the sales territory
  • Attain sales and profit margin goals
  • Coordinate sales efforts with support personnel
  • Keep sales management updated regarding developments within the sales territory via CRM and periodic reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years relevant sales experience, preferably in metals or metal-related products
  • Must reside within the defined territory
  • In-depth knowledge of CSW product lines and service offerings
  • Ability to effectively deal with customer issues and develop creative solutions
  • Good communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Motivation to thrive in a highly competitive environment with minimal supervision
