About the position

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual responsible for driving new business sales growth while also focusing on increasing and retaining existing business. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining customer relationships. The TSM must possess the ability to monitor and understand the competitive landscape within their assigned territory to ensure maximum profitability and value for customers. In this position, the TSM will be tasked with meeting or exceeding established corporate goals related to territory sales. This includes maintaining existing customer relationships and actively prospecting for new business opportunities within a designated geographic area. The ideal candidate will be expected to travel extensively within their territory to engage with both existing and prospective customers, making sales calls aimed at increasing market share and profitability. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic plans for territory growth, coordinating sales efforts with support personnel, and keeping sales management informed about developments within the territory through CRM updates and periodic reports. The TSM will play a crucial role in driving sales performance and ensuring customer satisfaction in a highly competitive environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years relevant sales experience, metals or metal related products highly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of CSW product lines and service offering
  • Ability to effectively deal with customer issues and develop creative solutions that add value for the customer
  • Good communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Motivation to thrive and be successful in a highly competitive environment with minimal supervision
