The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is a pivotal role within Central Steel & Wire, designed for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is committed to driving new business sales growth while also focusing on the retention and expansion of existing business relationships. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, emphasizing the importance of strong customer relationship management and a keen understanding of the competitive landscape within the assigned territory. The TSM will be responsible for achieving or surpassing established corporate sales goals, ensuring that the territory remains profitable and valuable to customers. In this role, the TSM will engage in extensive travel throughout the assigned geographic territory, making sales calls to both existing and prospective customers. The ideal candidate will not only reside within the territory but will also possess the ability to develop and implement strategic plans aimed at increasing market share and profitability. The TSM will coordinate sales efforts with support personnel and will be expected to keep sales management informed about developments in the territory through the use of CRM systems and periodic reporting. This position is not just about meeting sales targets; it also involves understanding customer needs, addressing issues effectively, and providing creative solutions that enhance customer value. The TSM will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's reputation and ensuring customer satisfaction, which are essential for long-term success in a highly competitive environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years relevant sales experience, metals or metal related products highly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of CSW product lines and service offering
  • Ability to effectively deal with customer issues and develop creative solutions that add value for the customer
  • Good communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Motivation to thrive and be successful in a highly competitive environment with minimal supervision
