About the position

The Outside Salesman at TruTeam is responsible for selling insulation and building material products to residential and light commercial accounts. This role requires a motivated individual with a strong sales background in the construction industry, focusing on generating leads, building customer relationships, and meeting sales targets. The position involves significant travel and physical demands, as well as a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospective customers and generate leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls and provide proposals.
• Manage accounts and provide product knowledge to customers.
• Monitor market conditions and competitors' products.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers and inspect job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years of sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license if operating a company vehicle.
