About the position

The Outside Salesperson at Hajoca Corporation is responsible for attracting and retaining customers through proactive face-to-face meetings and site visits. This role involves working closely with the Profit Center Manager to establish revenue targets, analyzing sales data, processing sales orders, and resolving customer issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Attract and retain customers through face-to-face meetings and site visits.
  • Work with the Profit Center Manager to establish revenue and margin targets.
  • Analyze sales reports to develop strategies for customer engagement and market share growth.
  • Process sales orders, bids, and job information packages in accordance with company policies.
  • Participate in sales meetings and maintain customer profile data.
  • Identify opportunities for value-added services to grow sales with existing customers.
  • Resolve customer problems and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Facilitate payment of accounts receivable and communicate any credit risks.
  • Support Inside Sales and Profit Center activities as part of the team.
  • Join industry associations to stay informed about market conditions and trends.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in contractor sales.
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company criteria.
  • Extensive knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
