Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. Our PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized business approach, honoring what's special about each local marketplace. Penstan Supply is one of those trade names and is looking for an Outside Salesperson at their Indiana, PA location. Do you take pride in providing an excellent customer experience? If so, we'd like you to join our team as an Outside Salesperson.

Responsibilities

  • Attract and retain customers by conducting face-to-face meetings and visiting job sites.
  • Work with the Profit Center Manager to establish revenue and margin targets.
  • Analyze sales reports and tools to establish strategies for customer purchase potential and market share growth.
  • Process sales orders, bids, and job information packages in accordance with Company policy.
  • Participate in scheduled sales meetings and maintain current customer profile data.
  • Find innovative ways to grow sales with existing customers and implement value-added services.
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems, address pricing deductions and material returns.
  • Facilitate payment of accounts receivable and communicate any changes in a customer's business.
  • Support Inside Sales and all Profit Center activities as part of the Profit Center Team.
  • Join industry associations to stay informed about market conditions and trends.
  • Complete required safety and compliance training programs.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1+ years outside sales experience, contractor sales preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Driving record must meet criteria for being an Authorized Driver.
  • Extensive knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center.
  • Outside Sales experience preferred.
  • Plumbing/HVAC background is preferred.
