About the position

Hajoca Corporation is seeking an Outside Salesperson for their Fort Worth, TX location. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service and technical support to HVAC/R contractors and industrial personnel. The Outside Salesperson will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, conducting face-to-face meetings, and driving sales growth while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers in making product selections and troubleshooting systems or products.
  • Providing high-level customer service and technical support to HVAC/R contractors and industrial personnel.
  • Maintaining knowledge of HVAC/R fundamentals and product lines, including features, functions, and benefits.
  • Determining replacement HVAC/R parts based on customer requirements and inspections.
  • Researching and sourcing products for customers using various tools and resources.
  • Training other teammates in HVAC fundamentals.
  • Attracting and retaining customers through proactive face-to-face meetings and site visits.
  • Analyzing sales reports to establish strategies for customer purchase potential and market share growth.
  • Processing sales orders and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Investigating and resolving customer problems and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Supporting Inside Sales and Profit Center activities as part of the team.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of industry experience in HVAC or related fields.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC products and systems.
  • Strong sales and wholesale sales experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Excellent organization and presentation skills.
  • Determination and drive to prospect new customers.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in contractor sales preferred.
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to build influential relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Consultative mindset to understand customer goals and invest in their success.
