About the position

The Outside Salesperson at Hajoca Corporation is responsible for attracting and retaining customers through proactive face-to-face meetings and site visits. This role involves analyzing sales reports, processing orders, and collaborating with the Profit Center Manager to meet revenue and margin targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Attract and retain customers through proactive face-to-face meetings and site visits.
  • Work with the Profit Center Manager to establish revenue and margin targets.
  • Analyze sales reports and tools to develop strategies for customer engagement and market share growth.
  • Process sales orders, bids, and job information packages in accordance with company policies.
  • Participate in scheduled sales meetings and maintain current customer profile data.
  • Identify opportunities for value-added services and innovative sales growth with existing customers.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues, including pricing deductions and material returns.
  • Facilitate payment of accounts receivable and communicate any credit risk changes.
  • Support Inside Sales and all Profit Center activities as part of the team.
  • Join industry associations to stay informed about market conditions and trends.
  • Complete required safety and compliance training programs.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in contractor sales.
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company criteria.
  • Extensive knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to persuade and build relationships.
