About the position

The Outside Salesperson at Hajoca Corporation is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to HVAC/R contractors and industrial personnel. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with customers, conducting face-to-face meetings, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, particularly in the HVAC industry, and will be proactive in identifying customer needs and providing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers in making product selections and troubleshooting systems or products.
• Providing high-level customer service and technical support to HVAC/R contractors and industrial personnel.
• Maintaining knowledge of HVAC/R fundamentals and product lines, including features and benefits.
• Determining replacement HVAC/R parts based on customer requirements and inspections.
• Researching and sourcing products for customers using various tools and resources.
• Training other teammates in HVAC fundamentals.
• Proactively conducting face-to-face customer meetings and visiting job sites.
• Analyzing sales reports to establish strategies for customer engagement and sales growth.
• Processing sales orders and maintaining compliance with company policies.
• Investigating and resolving customer problems and ensuring satisfaction.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of industry experience in outside sales, preferably in contractor sales.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC products and systems.
• Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Possession of a college degree.
• Experience in wholesale sales or HVAC industry.
• Ability to learn and operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
