About the position

As an Outside Security Sales Representative at Alert 360, you will play a crucial role in representing our company and selling our comprehensive range of security solutions, including Smart Home Automation and Video Monitoring systems, to both residential and business customers. This position is designed for individuals who are self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic, ambition, and drive to succeed. You will receive extensive training and support to help you meet your personal success goals, and we provide new home leads to assist you in your sales efforts. The role offers unlimited earning potential with a competitive compensation plan, including monthly bonuses and a $3,600 guarantee over the first two months to help you get started. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining a network of sources to identify new sales leads, communicating with customers to understand their needs, and suggesting appropriate products and services. You will be expected to meet face-to-face with potential or existing customers to close significant transactions. Excellent customer relationship-building skills are essential, as is the ability to adapt to changing situations and challenges. The position requires you to perform daily tasks using an iPad or smartphone, and you must be comfortable working on a commission basis after the initial guarantee period. Responsibilities

  • Act as the face of Alert 360 to sell security solutions to residential and business customers.
  • Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
  • Communicate with customers to identify and understand their product or service needs.
  • Suggest products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Close significant transactions by meeting face-to-face with potential or existing customers.
  • Perform daily tasks using an iPad or smartphone.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have reliable transportation with a good driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working for 100% commission after the initial guarantee period.
  • Experience in outside sales, inside sales, B2B, or door knocking is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
