Alert 360 is seeking an Outside Security Sales Representative to join our team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This position is crucial as it serves as the face of Alert 360, responsible for selling security systems, smart home automation, and video monitoring solutions to both residential and business customers. The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can leverage your sales skills to meet personal and company goals. As an Outside Sales Consultant, you will be tasked with building and maintaining a network of sources to identify new sales leads. Your success will depend on your self-motivation, work ethic, and ambition. You will communicate with customers to understand their needs and suggest appropriate products and services. The ability to close significant transactions through face-to-face meetings with potential or existing customers is essential. This role requires excellent customer relationship-building skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations. The position offers unlimited earning potential with a competitive compensation plan, including monthly bonuses. Responsibilities

  • Sell security systems, smart home automation, and video monitoring solutions to residential and business customers.
  • Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
  • Communicate with customers to identify and understand their product or service needs.
  • Suggest products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Close significant transactions through face-to-face meetings with potential or existing customers.
  • Perform daily tasks using an iPad or smartphone.
  • Maintain excellent customer relationship-building skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Comfortable working for 100% commission after the initial guarantee period.
  • Must have reliable transportation with a good driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Weekend and evening availability is required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Experience in outside sales, inside sales, B2B, or door knocking is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
  • Previous sales experience in the security industry is a plus.
