About the position

The Outside Service Personnel at Service Tire Truck Center Inc. is responsible for providing emergency tire repair and replacement services to customers at various locations, including on the road and at customer sites. This role requires a commitment to customer satisfaction, flexibility in job priorities, and the ability to perform tasks safely and efficiently while adhering to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency service calls 24/7 to perform tire repairs and replacements.
• Be part of the on-call rotation for emergency services.
• Complete all road calls within 2 hours whenever possible.
• Mount, dismount, balance, replace, and repair truck tires at customer locations or in-service shop.
• Use hydraulic jacks, air tools, and heavy hand-held tools for tire service.
• Inspect and repair truck tires using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service department.
• Communicate all work performed through legible writing on work orders and invoices.
• Perform daily maintenance on service vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Quote product and service prices to customers as needed.
• Complete service work orders with accurate customer and service information before submission to the Service Manager.

Requirements

• 1 year or more related work experience preferred, but training will be provided.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Basic mathematical skills for quoting prices and performing calculations.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate service tools and equipment, including hydraulic jacks and air compressors.

• Experience in tire service or automotive repair is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
