About the position
The Outside Service Salesperson at Great Western Trailer (GWT) is a vital role focused on expanding the outside service sales program. This position involves building customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and contributing to the overall success of the company. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven sales background, capable of thriving in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify new customers via phone, networking, and social media to drive sales.
- Develop strategies to expand your book of business.
- Collaborate with Service and Parts teams to meet customer expectations on timing and pricing.
- Proactively manage customer data in our CRM system (experience with ZOHO a plus).
- Represent GWT professionally, maintaining our core values and customer relationships.
- Provide customized solutions for customers based on their needs.
- Deliver parts as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years in the Heavy Duty Trailers industry.
- Proven sales experience with strong follow-up and communication skills.
- Experience with CRM systems, ZOHO is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license.
