About the position

As an Outsourced Accounting and Tax Manager at Eide Bailly LLP, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a team of outsourced accounting specialists, senior associates, and associates. Your primary responsibility will be to manage client relationships by actively monitoring client needs and building value. You will handle the day-to-day accounting needs for clients, ensuring that their financial operations run smoothly. In addition to managing accounting tasks, you will provide business advisory services, reviewing bookkeeping, financial statements, and business income tax projections prepared by your team. Depending on your tax experience, you may also prepare or review some business and individual tax returns. Your role will involve making recommendations on how to streamline processes and providing constructive feedback to help develop the outsourced accounting practice. Mentoring and technical training for staff will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to cross-sell Eide Bailly services. You will also manage client billings for accounting services, participate in business development activities, and ensure timely and accurate performance on assigned tasks while managing project budgets and turnaround times. Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of outsourced accounting specialists, senior associates, and associates.
  • Manage client relationships by monitoring client needs and building value.

  • Provide business advisory services to clients.
  • Review bookkeeping, financial statements, and business income tax projections prepared by staff.
  • Prepare or review some business and individual tax returns depending on tax experience.

  • Provide feedback to develop the outsourced accounting practice.
  • Mentor and provide technical training for staff.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell Eide Bailly services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience required, including prior experience managing staff.
  • Valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license strongly preferred.
  • Experience within a CPA firm, especially in tax and/or audit, preferred.
  • Experience working in the healthcare/medical industry is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
