About The Position
Under general supervision, the Overhaul and Repair Mechanic performs skilled mechanical work as required to diagnose, maintain, repair, rebuild, overhaul, inspect and test NCTD buses, trains, and support vehicles. This position is designated as Safety-Sensitive in accordance with Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), Federal Transit Administration, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and will participate in a random testing pool under those guidelines.
