About the position
The Overnight Caregiver position at Visiting Angels involves providing non-medical living assistance to clients during overnight hours. Caregivers will support seniors and disabled adults with various tasks, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care, and companionship. This role is essential for enhancing the quality of life for clients while offering flexible shifts and competitive wages.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical living assistance to clients during overnight hours.
- Assist clients with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Offer personal care assistance and companionship to clients.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
- Provide respite care for families when required.
Requirements
- Experience in caring for seniors and/or disabled adults, either professionally or personally.
- Reliability and professionalism in all interactions.
- A valid driver's license and car insurance are required.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for clocking in/out and documentation.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care.
- LNA/CNA certification is a plus.
- Hands-on caregiving experience preferred.
