About the position

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) role at Audrain Developmental Disability Services involves providing essential support to adults with developmental disabilities in group home settings. The DSP will work full-time or part-time during evenings, overnights, and weekends, contributing to a meaningful and impactful service within the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
• Encourage social interaction and community involvement among residents.
• Implement individualized support plans tailored to each person's needs.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all residents.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain a Chauffeur's license.
• Willingness to complete all required training provided by ADDS.
