About the position

This is a full-time position with a work week from Sunday night to Thursday night, starting at 4 PM and ending when the work is complete. The position requires experience with the PE4500 stand-up electric double pallet jack, and all orders are selected using electric double pallet jacks. You must pass an equipment test and become certified in order to work as an overnight selector. In this role, you will perform all pre-shift duties including warm-up and safety checks on all equipment. You will work in multi-temperature areas as assigned and meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy while working in a safe manner. Post-shift duties may include clearing aisles of debris, returning the pallet jack to the charging area, and cleaning up any spills. You must be physically able to work in the freezer (-15 degrees) and in the cooler, and be able to repeatedly lift more than 50 pounds throughout a shift. We offer a retention bonus of $1100 over the span of the first year of employment (must meet attendance requirements & work safely) and incentive-based pay. Prior selecting/warehouse experience is preferred, but for the right candidate, we will offer additional training opportunities. Responsibilities
- Perform all pre-shift duties including warm up and safety checks on all equipment.
- Work in multi-temperature areas as assigned.
- Meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy while working in a safe manner.
- Perform various post-shift duties including clearing aisles of debris and returning pallet jack to charging area.
- Stack empty pallets from slots in aisle and clean up any spills.
- Complete any related paperwork.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent experience in a highly physical, labor-intensive warehouse selection position.
- Minimum six months experience with warehouse material handling equipment (electric pallet jack or high low) preferred.
- Extensive experience operating Standup Forklifts required.
- Voice selection software experience preferred.
- Recent experience in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior selecting/warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to read alpha and numeric codes from pick sheets and slots.
- Team-oriented and able to get along with others.
