The Overnight Facility Residential Staff Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the documentation and administrative reporting duties related to facility records, ensuring compliance with all New Haven and Community Care Licensing policies and procedures. This position is essential in maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment for the youth in care. The Facility Manager is responsible for representing core program practices and standards, supporting behavioral objectives, and guiding the team to effectively respond to the needs and crises of the residents. In this role, the manager will supervise youth, employing positive discipline and maintaining professional boundaries while utilizing behavior modification and crisis intervention techniques. The manager will also assist in the implementation of program schedules and ensure that all components of the Milieu Treatment Program, including individualized treatment plans, are executed and monitored according to established standards. The Overnight Facility Residential Staff Manager will observe and respond to behavioral issues promptly, adhering to safety standards and promoting appropriate living habits among residents. This includes maintaining and updating house supplies, office equipment, petty cash, logs, and reports in accordance with licensing and organizational standards. The manager will also provide support to Program Specialists to ensure that the facility meets licensing standards and HIPAA requirements, conducting regular house audits and reporting findings. Participation in team meetings and required trainings is essential, demonstrating mastery of training materials and maintaining all necessary certifications. The position requires working overnight shifts from 11:30 PM to 9:00 AM, four nights a week, with specific days outlined in the job description.
