About the position

Beau Dietl & Associates is seeking an Overnight Assistant Field Specialist to assist in overnight field operations throughout New York City. This position requires individuals to have a vehicle to report to the main hub located in Secaucus, NJ, where secure parking is provided for personally owned vehicles at no charge. The role involves driving company vehicles that are equipped with tools and instruments designed to measure high electric current readings, which may pose a risk to the general public. Additional responsibilities may include map reading and monitoring mounted live video feeds. The work schedule is from Sunday through Thursday nights, with shift times from 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM. All operations are conducted within the five boroughs of New York City.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overnight field operations throughout NYC.
• Drive company vehicles equipped with tools and instruments for measuring high electric current.
• Conduct map reading and monitor mounted live video feeds.
• Report to the main operations center in Secaucus, NJ.

Requirements

• Must have a car to transport yourself to the main operations center.
• Good knowledge of city routes.
• Proficient navigation skills and use of digital maps.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Must have a clean driving record with no infractions or violations.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 points on driver's abstract (Mandatory).
• Provide a copy of an updated driver's abstract.
• Undergo a complete background check.
• Must be detail-oriented, demonstrate initiative and punctuality.
• Security License is a plus but not required.
• Former Military and Law Enforcement experience is a plus but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
