About The Position

The Overnight Guest Service Agent at Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during overnight shifts. Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a hotel front desk agent.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Capacity to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information from the computer.
• Assist guests with checkout, ensuring accurate accounting of rooms and services, and processing various forms of payment.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, rates, and local area attractions.
• Use upselling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize room occupancy.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely and friendly manner.
• Field guest complaints and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.
• Receive, input, retrieve, and relay messages to guests.
• Prepare arrivals for the following day, including preassigned VIPs and special requests.
• Generate reports to ensure accuracy of charges.
